| Personal History | Thirty-four years ago, Qillin was born on Ventax II and spent his first year of life there. His parents moved the young family to Earth after his mother found work with Starfleet - first at the academy, and then aboard several different starships. Qillin spent his childhood in a relatively normal manner through the various moves: going to school, participating in sports, and definitely not cheating on tests or girlfriends. As he was graduating from secondary schooling, life as an only child ended when a younger sister was born. He barely met her before leaving home to further his education. He specialized in CIS- Hardware Research and Development and Starship mechanics. Other studies included programming holodecks and replicator technologies. While at the academy, he had a side job in the cafeteria and developed a love of cooking and experimented with various culinary cuisines under mentorship. A year ago, Qillin took guardianship of his younger sister after tragic circumstances. Four years previously, his mother had been found, deceased, at the bottom of a cliff face. Tetayn had been presumed dead as well; they were on a hiking expedition together. At the time, he mourned their losses with his father. And two years later, he mourned the death of his father after he passed away from untreated heart disease. Through all his losses, his wife, Katie, was a strong, emotional support for him. It was quite a surprise when Tetayn was discovered to be alive. She survived a kidnapping and manufactured her own escape. Qillin quickly welcomed Tetayn into his family. Unfortunately, Katie was not as welcoming. Qillin was recently divorced after a marriage of five years to Katie Wren. |

| Service Record | Qillin began his career with Starfleet serving on the USS Rhone where he performed basic maintenance and repair tasks. He often shadowed the deputy chief and was entrusted to more complicated processes after showing initiative. When the Rhone completed its five-year mission, Qillin was reassigned to the USS Orinoco where he took the deputy chief role. |
