The final battle

H'orri had had enough of This Shorn Woman . Her would be assassin! Well, enough was enough! She was going to track down this menace and take care of her, once and for all. She was armed with a knife brought from her home on Cait and a phaser. Engineering seemed the best place to start looking. Call it a hunch. Soon she was in engineering, Now normally it wouldn't be a big deal to see her down here but armed with a phaser and a knife. Security had been called as they had been warned to let security know if Lt. H'orri showed up.

H'orri meanwhile had closed her eyes and was focusing on the scents. The assassin's suit normally would have prevented any scent from escaping but fortunately for H'orri, R'elle had damaged the suit and there was enough scent for H'orri to pick up on. It was faint, but yes! She was here. suddenly her instincts told her to dodge which she did. She could see just enough of the assassin and her knife to know she got out of the way just in time. She grabbed the knife and used the momentum to bring it down quickly and the assassin had stabbed herself. "Damn you Cat!" she said as she flung H'orri away. "You will die yet Cat!" her suit sparked as it tried to function but only partially cloaked her. evidently the suit had been damaged more by H'orri's successful attack. She lunged at H'orri who dodged, barely. Her opponent was fast! Faster than she expected.

Suddenly, her opponent vanished. Apparently the clocking device was working again. Not good she backed off quickly and focused once again on scent and sound. Shorn was stealthy but still made a sound and H'orri could smell her, barely. She quickly dodged another attack and kicked Shorn. Didn't seem to to do much, if any damage but gave H'orri a little breathing room. She was keeping a ahead of Shorn but only just. H'orri was dodging as best she could Shorn's stealth suit was nice but the cloak did not cover the weapon in shorn's hand.
suddenly the door opened and security came in and shouted "Lt H'orri!" that was enough to distract her and for Shorn to slip a blade into H'orri who fell to her. Immediately phaser beams shot out with enough power to penetrated even shorn's suit as the would be assassin fell to the ground unconscious or worse.

The security officer, the one with the big mouth, quickly called sick bay. "Sick bay! Emergency! Two down in engineering . Transport them there now! It's Lt H'orri and the assassin!" in a fraction of a second the transporter effect took both of them away where they will receive medical treatment. "Security, this is Lt Marcus. Get a team over to Sick bay asap! Lt. H'orrii would be assassin is there! I want her arrested and kept underguard and strip search and I mean every nook and cranny, run every possible scan on her for weapons, poison pills or well anything and everything as soon as Dr Klarth gives his ok."

So the the assassin has been taken care of. With a little luck Lt H'orri will recover. However, the saga of the Lionheart if just beginning a new chapter as they all will find out very soon.
